Matador Cheerleaders Participate In USA Collegiate Nationals Championship

The Matador Cheerleading Squad recently competed at the USA Collegiate Nationals Championship in Anaheim.

The Matadors had two stunt teams comprised of five team members each compete. Each stunt team constructed a series of elite moves in a predetermined time span.

Matty the Matador also competed in the mascot competition.

The Matadors brought home a fourth place trophy in the Group Stunt Competition. Fourteen schools competed.

Under the leadership of first year Head Coach Aaron Martin and Assistant Coach Sharris Williams, the Matadors are looking to continue building on their recent successes in competitions.
