20 Matadors Named to Academic All-Big West Conference Team
The Academic All-Big West Conference Team for Spring sports was announced on Wednesday, with 20 Matadors earning All-Academic honors.
Women's Track and Field led the way with eight student-athletes earning All-Academic honors. Men's Track and Field and Women's Tennis each had four honorees, while women's golf added two and softball and men's golf each had one. The list of honorees is posted below.

The Matadors earned 39 Academic All-Big West Conference honors in 2005-06, including 10 mentions in the Winter and eight honorees in the Fall.
To be eligible for the All-Academic team, student-athletes must maintain a 3.2 cumulative grade point average, complete one full academic year at Northridge prior to the season for which the award is being received (at least a sophomore academically) and compete in at least 50 percent of their team's contests.
