Mark Adamiak is currently in his 16th year with the Cal State Northridge Athletic Department and his 14th year as the Matadors' Facilities Manager.

Adamiak was named the Facilities Manager in June, 1999, and oversees the upkeep of all the Northridge athletic venues.

Adamiak has been responsible for the recent improvements at Northridge's soccer, softball, baseball and track and field facilities.

A native of West Covina, Calif., Adamiak taught physical education for 13 years at Hathaway Children's Services prior to his stint with the Matadors.

He attended Brigham Young University (BYU) on a full baseball scholarship from 1978-81. Adamiak was an All-Western Athletic Conference second baseman for the Cougars in 1980 and '81 before leaving BYU to embark on his professional career in the Philadelphia Phillies organization.

Adamiak and his wife (Beatriz) currently reside in Valencia, Calif., with their son Garrett Andrew (19).
