Braden Villanueva is currently in his 12th season (2012-13) as art director at Cal State Northridge. His responsibilities include the design and production of the athletic department publications as well as photography at various events. Braden began working with the department as a freelance graphic artist in 1996. He has earned numerous honors including various regional awards as well as nine CoSIDA "Best in the Nation" awards. Prior to CSUN, Villanueva served as art director for Ventura County Parent and a monthly trade magazine, as well as associate art director for Junior Baseball magazine. He also worked as a graphic artist for the city of Beverly Hills, Department of Recreation and Parks. Braden earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Cinema-Television Arts with an emphasis in Television Production from CSUN in 1997. Braden, his wife, Lily, their son, Jaden, and daughter, Mikayla, reside in Valencia.
