NORTHRIDGE, CA - CSUN women's volleyball has announced that Daniella Molinari has signed a National Letter of Intent for 2016-17. Molinari is the second player to sign with the Matadors during the early signing period.Â
Molinari, a 6-2 middle blocker from Cardinal Gibbons High School in Fort Lauderdale, FL, was a first team All-Broward County selection as a senior this season. She was also a member of the Chiefs' state championship team this past season. Molinari played all three front row postions during her high school career and was also a setter for the Chiefs. As a senior she recorded 295 kills, 170 digs and 105 blocks as her team finished 27-7. She was a four-year starter, playing her final three seasons under coach Kathryn Reeber.
"I think Daniella can be a player that helps us in the front row as well as the back row," said CSUN head coach Jeff Stork. "She set for her high school and club teams, has played middle, left and right as well as being a primary passer. She is eager and and an inspired player that has dreams and aspirations of playing volleyball at the highest level. Daniella is a very hard worker in all aspects of her game."
