Arvis Greene, Jr. appeared in 25 matches and 90 sets in his third season ... earned honorable mention AVCA All-America honors, the first for a CSUN player since Kevin McKniff and Jacek Ratajczak were both honored in 2010 ... was also named honorable mention All-American by Volleyball Magazine and second team All-MPSF ... led the Matadors and ranked sixth in the MPSF with 359 kills while averaging 3.99 kills per set ... ranked seventh in the conference in points per set at 4.47 ... hit .304 on a career-high 760 swings ... set season-highs in every offensive and defensive categories including aces (13), digs (74) and blocks (51) ... had double figure kill totals in 19 of 25 matches ... put down a career-high 26 kills while hitting .615 on 39 swings in CSUN's 3-0 upset of No. 7 Stanford (Feb. 3) ... notched 25 kills on two occasions and had 21 kills and two aces against UC San Diego (Mar. 1) ... set a career-high with eight digs against No. 9 Pepperdine (Mar. 15) ... went on to play for the 2017 USA Volleyball Team at the Pan American Games in July.
CSUN - 2016 (Sophomore)
Greene appeared in 25 matches and 78 sets during his sophomore season ... made five starts at opposite hitter ... finished the season with career-highs of 107 kills and 1.37 kills per set ... hit .199 on 261 swings ... also added 26 total blocks (0.33 bps), 31 digs and seven aces ... pounded a career-high 21 kills on 53 swings (.226) in CSUN's 3-2 upset win over No. 2 Long Beach State (Mar. 19) ... also reached double figures with 12 kills to go with a career-high three aces in a straight-set win over Cal Lutheran (Jan. 20).
CSUN - 2015 (Redshirt Freshman)
Greene appeared in 20 matches and 50 sets in his first season on the active roster ... finished the season with 30 kills (0.60 kps) while hitting .231 on 65 attacks ... also added 11 total blocks (0.22 bps) and five digs ... pounded a season-high 12 kills on 28 swings in the season-finale at No. 11 Long Beach State (Apr. 18) ... had seven kills while hitting .385 to go with three blocks at No. 5 UC Irvine (Apr. 1) ... came off the bench to post four kills and three blocks at No. 8 UC Santa Barbara (Mar. 6) ... recorded his first collegiate kill against No. 15 IPFW (Jan. 9).

Greene redshirted for the Matadors as a true freshman in 2014.
UNIVERSITY HIGH SCHOOL
Greene played both volleyball and basketball at University High School in Los Angeles, Calif. ... was named first team All-City for the Wildcats volleyball team in both 2012 and 2013 ... played middle hitter for coach Kerri Eich as a senior in 2013 ... made the Los Angeles All-Star volleyball team ... hit .755 and had a kill percentage of 84.0 which both ranked number one in the city ... was also a power forward for the basketball team ... graduated in 2013 with a 3.1 grade point average.
