Student Front Desk Administrative Assistant
DUTIES: Receptionist duties, answer phones, student referral, direct questions by general public to proper person or department, filing, copying, computer input, mailings, sorting department mail, run errands on campus.
QUALIFICATIONS: Some knowledge of general office procedures preferred, but not required, will train.
PURPOSE: The mission of CSUN Athletics is to provide the opportunity for student-athletes to achieve personal excellence in both academics and athletics. The clerical assistant will aid the office staff and coaching personnel in achieving this mission with their support services.
HOURS: Monday - Friday, between 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, maximum of 20 hours per week

Marketing Internship (Fall 2022-Spring 2023)
CSUN Athletics Marketing is looking for interns/volunteers to help market all 19 sporting events assist with community relations. In the office (depending on availability of the office and the intern's schedule), marketing interns will help with daily office responsibilities, preparing upcoming sporting events, creating new promotions, reaching out to the local community. Outside of the office, marketing interns will help in-game promotions.
- Depending on availability of the office and interns/volunteers schedule, the possibility doing office hours.
- Available to work weeknights and weekends for sporting events and special events Tuesday - Sunday.
- Responsibilities - assist with game day events, event planning, on campus marketing, drive students to attend sporting events, community relations, new ideas to push attendance and promotional giveaways.
- Desired Skills - knowledge of collegiate sports or professional sports, school spirit, Microsoft Office (minimum). Can work with others, proactive, and can complete assignments before deadlines.
- Preferred Candidates - Can commit at least one academic year.
CSUN Sports Network Radio Engineer Student Worker
DUTIES: Assist CSUN Sports Network broadcasters with engineering audio for online broadcasts. Must be consistently available for night and evening games and events throughout the course of the soccer, basketball, baseball and/or softball seasons.
QUALIFICATIONS: Background in and knowledge of radio production and engineering.

CSUN Sports Network Internship and Student Workers
Job Description: CSUN Athletics offers internship positions in all areas to students joining the CSUN Sports Network. This opportunity gives interns a chance to work in all areas of the CSUN Sports Network; from producing over 75 live CSUN sporting events for the ESPN platform to producing and editing feature videos and content.
GOAL: To improve fans' digital interaction with our brand and expand our overall web and social footprint; to enhance our existing web content and make GoMatadors.com a must-visit destination for fans, the campus community and Los Angeles residents, growing the visibility of CSUN Athletics and the University as a whole

THE CSUN Sports Network
- Produces over 75 live streams of CSUN home games annually for ESPN+
- Creates feature content, including team intro videos and highlight packages of numerous teams for use on web and social
- Creates special feature videos covering campus events and featuring campus personalities, including, for example:
- CSUN special events
- "A day in the life" of a CSUN student-athlete
- CSUN faculty liaisons and other on-campus athletics supporters
- Matador Achievement Center
- Student-athletes' non-athletic involvement on campus
- Volunteerism
Sports Performance Internship (5 positions)
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Must be working towards a bachelor's degree in related field (exercise science, kinesiology etc). Interested in sitting, or studying for the NSCA CSCS exam. CPR/First Aid preferred
RESPONSIBILITIES: Assist the sports performance staff with supervision, maintenance and oversight of the weight rooms that service 19 NCAA Division I men's and women's sports; assist with the design, implementation and oversight of strength training and conditioning programs for specific teams and individual student-athletes as assigned. Participate in group instruction and learning.
POSITION: This is a volunteer position, minimum 15 hours a week required from each intern.

Athletics Event Staff
Athletics Event Staff assists in the logistical management of on campus sporting events. Their primary responsibilities include preparing venues by setting up tables, chairs, and other athletic equipment and assisting in the facilitation of the actual athletic competition. It will require long hours on your feet and being available at night and on weekends. A background in customer service or events is preferred. The ability to lift 50 pounds is preferred. All event staff must be in compliance with all campus rules and regulations including all COVID-19 policies. A mask and gloves will be provided and for this semester a majority of the events will be outdoors.
