NORTHRIDGE, Calif. -
The Cal State Northridge baseball program will conduct an instructional camp for kids at Matador Field on January 2-4, 2013, head coach Matt Curtis announced today. The camp will allow youth baseball players to learn skills and receive instruction from NCAA Division I student-athletes and coaches.
The Kids Camp will be held from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. each day at Matador Field, which can be accessed through the main gate at Halsted and Lindley Avenues in Northridge. The cost to attend is $150 per camper and lunch for each session is an additional $20 flat fee.
Parents and family members are welcome to watch the camp each day and parking is available adjacent to the field on Lindley Avenue or in Lot E6 at the corner of Lindley and Halsted. Daily parking permits are $6 and are available for purchase at the self-serve parking pass kiosks in Lot E6.
Extended care is available from 8-9 a.m. before each session and from 2-4 p.m. after camp for a fee of $25 per day.
The camp is open to all kids in grades 1-8 and all campers will receive a Matador Baseball T-shirt. Campers are required to fill out a registration form and camp waiver, which can be found below or by visiting www.matadorbaseball.com.
