In his second season with the Matadors, Chris Allen made 23 starts in 33 games ... finished his sophomore campaign with 14 hits in 74 at-bats for a .189 average ... recorded three doubles, a triple, two home runs and 12 RBI for Northridge ... made his first start of the season and hit a two-run homerun in a win against Valparaiso (2/26) ... pinch ran and scored a run in a 3-2 victory over San Francisco at the YMBL Cardinal Classic (3/5) ... hit his second homerun of the season, a two-run shot, and added 3 RBI in a home win over San Diego State (3/8) ... went 2-for-4 in a loss to Lafayette (3/11) ... hit his first triple of the season and drove in two in a win against Sacramento State (3/18 Gm. 2) ... went 3-for-5 with a double, three RBI and a run scored against Pacific (4/23), setting career highs in at-bats and hits and tying his career best in RBI.

CHARTER OAK HIGH SCHOOL
Allen earned three letters playing at first base and outfield for Head Coach Tom Quinley at Charter Oak Christian High School. In his senior season, he won the league batting title while leading the Chargers to a Miramonte League Championship. Allen helped Charter Oak to league titles in each of his three years playing on the baseball team. Allen was named to the All-League First Team twice and to the Second Team once. Allen also played for the Charger football team, helping the school win a CIF Championship.
