NORTHRIDGE, Calif. - The CSUN baseball program is hosting their inaugural Winter Showcase Camp at Matador Field located on the campus of Cal State Northridge. Two, one-day sessions will take place on January 22nd and 23rd as campers have the option to sign up for either, or both dates.
This is an excellent opportunity for high school baseball players to improve their skill set and receive personalized instruction from an experienced coaching staff that has won championships at all levels as professionals.
As stated in the NCAA rules, coaches are not allowed to visit with, or watch high school players compete until March 1st. This is a tremendous opportunity to highlight your talents in front of a nationally renowned and respected group of individuals during this two-day event!
When attending this event, each player must bring his own baseball equipment - glove, bat, cleats, running/turf shoes, hat, and any other necessities needed to compete. Catchers must bring their own gear, helmets will be provided. ALL campers must bring their own baseball pants.
Instruction will focus on hitting, catching, pitching, infield, and outfield skills and techniques. Evaluations will be provided for each camper, scrimmages will take place each day.
All communications pertaining to the 2011 Winter Showcase Camp will take place by e-mail. To eliminate any confusion or miscommunication, please provide your primary e-mail address when registering and check on a regular basis. All information will be sent to the account listed on your registration form.
There are four ways to secure your spot for the 2011 Winter Showcase Camp, first priority will be given for all players registered by January 14th.

GENERAL INFORMATION
Cost: $90 per camper for one day, $180 per camper for both days.

Event Check-In: Please arrive to Matador Field 30-45 minutes prior to the start time.
Cancellation Policy: We do not offer refunds on cancelled campers, credit for future camps will be given. Credit is valid for one year from the camp date.
Parking: Day passes can be purchased for $6, parking is available outside the facility.
