CSUN Will Compete in Front of a Nationally Televised Audience Saturday Afternoon

NORTHRIDGE, Calif. - As one of four participants in this weekend's MLB Urban Invitational, the Cal State Northridge Matadors will compete in front of a nationally televised audience on the MLB Network, and streamed on MLB.com this Saturday afternoon
CSUN will face the Southern Jaguars (Baton Rouge, La.) at 2:00 p.m. from the MLB Urban Youth Academy in Compton, Calif. in the first game of the day.
MLB Network analysts Victor Rojas and Harold Reynolds will provide the play-by-play and color commentary during the CSUN-Southern game; check your local listings or contact your local cable or satellite provider to make sure you have the opportunity to watch Cal State Northridge compete in their second game of the season live on the MLB Network or MLB.com.
For tickets to Friday's season-opening game between Northridge and Bethune-Cookman (Daytona Beach, Fla.) visit the MLB Urban Youth Academy (located on the campus of El Camino College, Compton Campus) as one-day passes will be available for purchase on game day for $5.00. Children 12 and under and students with valid ID will be admitted free. Proceeds from the ticket sales will benefit the Major League Baseball Urban Youth Academy, which is a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) corporation.
