Two Matators Will Compete in Southern California Collegiate Baseball League All-Star Game

NORTHRIDGE, Calif. -

Two members of Matador baseball will be rewarded for their hard work and success this weekend in Palm Springs as recent Major League Baseball draftee Drew Muren and incoming junior-transfer Josh Goosen-Brown will compete in the Southern California Collegiate Baseball Association (SCCBA) All-Star Game this weekend.

Taking place at Palm Springs Stadium, an all-star roster comprised of the best summer talent from all six SCCBA teams will compete against against an all-star squad comprised of players from San Diego this Saturday, July 24.

Both players competed as teammates for the Southern California Cardinals, the league's newest organization competing in their first season within the SCCBA. Muren competed in centerfield while teammate Goosen-Brown served as the team's third baseman.
