The second of a three-game road trip takes Cal State Northridge to the Pacific Northwest where the Matadors face Seattle University in a non-league game on Tuesday, January 19, 2010 ... Tipoff is slated for 7:10 p.m. at Key Arena at Seattle Center, the former home of the NBA's Seattle Sonics ... The Sonics have since moved to Oklahoma City ... From Seattle, Cal State Northridge gets back into the thick of the Big West Conference regular season race with a game at Cal Poly (1/23/10, 7:00 p.m.) ... The Matadors stand at 2-3 ... The Matadors have won their last two conference games, including a gritty 78-72 victory at Cal State Fullerton (1/16/10) ... It was the third straight win over the Titans on their home court ... Cal State Northridge is trying to become only the fourth program in Big West history to capture three straight regular season titles - shared or outright ... The Matadors earned a three-way share of the title in 2007-08 at 12-4 ... CSUN boasted the outright championship last season with an 11-5 mark ... Daniels, who is third in the BWC in field goal percentage (.523), has hit 22-of-37 shots from the floor in the last five games for .595 ... Daniels has collected six 3-pointers in his last nine attempts for 67 percent in his last four games ... Cal State Northridge will be among eight schools that will be a part of the fourth annual 76 Classic to be held on Thanksgiving weekend in 2010 at the Anaheim Convention Center ... In addition to the Matadors, the tournament field will included Oklahoma State (Big 12), Penn State (Big Ten), DePaul (Big East), Stanford (Pac-10), Tulsa (Conference USA), UNLV (Mountain West) and Virginia Tech (ACC) ... The 76 Classic features four games each day through three days, Nov. 25, 26 and 28 ... Each team will compete in one game per day, advancing through a backet-tournament format ...
