Second Round of Cullum Invitational Suspended with CSUN Tied for 8th Place
SIMI VALLEY, Calif. - The second round of the 2013 Bill Cullum Invitational was suspended due to darkness and will be completed prior to the final round Tuesday morning at Wood Ranch Golf Club. Host Cal State Northridge is currently tied for eighth (583) in the 20-team field.
All 27 groups finished 36 holes with the exception of one. That foursome will finish the 11th hole at 7:45 Tuesday morning prior to the rest of the field heading out for a shotgun start at 8 a.m.
San Diego (557) will carry a six-shot lead over Arizona State (563) and an 11-stroke lead over Cal State Fullerton (568) into Tuesday's final round.
Defending champion Jon Rahm of Arizona State is the individual leader at seven-under-par 137 through 36 holes. Rahm leads Mark Anguiano of Cal State Fullerton by one shot.
The Matadors' Kyler Sauer is just four shots off the pace as the senior is tied for eighth at three-under 141 following rounds of 71-70.
