El Paso, Texas - Cal State Northridge senior Nick Delio carded rounds of 78-71 on Monday and is tied for 29th after two rounds of the Western Refining College All-America Golf Classic at El Paso Country Club.
Delio, one of 31 players selected to play in the prestigious tournament, opened with a (+7) 78 but rebounded with a second round even-par 71. Delio is tied for 29th with Cody Gribble of Texas. Tain Lee of Claremont-Mudd-Scripps leads the tournament carrying a one-shot lead over Alex Chang of San Diego. Lee posted rounds of 64-69 and sits at nine under-par 133.
Delio tees off on hole #10 at 8:10 local time on Tuesday for the final round.
Notes: Delio also competed in the PING putting contest on Sunday and tied for 11th.
