2011
Rene Anguiano competed in 18 of 19 matches for the Matadors in 2011. He tallied three assists and three points this season as a midfielder and also took 18 shots, three of which were on goal. For his efforts on both sides of the ball this year, Anguiano was named an All-Big West Honorable Mention.
2010
Anguiano completed his sophomore season at CSUN as a mainstay in midfield and played in all 19 games for the Matadors in 2010. He scored two goals and finished the season with four points.
2009
Anguiano finished his first season earning All-Big West Honorable Mention honors and was one of two freshmen to earn conference recognition. He trailed only Sunghyun Kim for the most assists with five and earned his first career point at the collegiate level vs. Wisconsin-Milwaukee (9/13). Anguiano earned an assist in CSUN's win over #3-ranked UC Santa Barbara (10/18) and earned another assist vs. UC Riverside (10/31). He picked up his second assist in as many games vs. Cal State Fullerton (11/4) and earned his fifth assist of the season at UC Irvine (11/7).
LOS ANGELES SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL
Anguiano captained the Romans for three years under head coach Pedro Martinez and was named Most Valuable Player and an All-League Honorable Mention, as he led the Romans to the 2007 Los Angeles League Championship. He earned All-League, All-City, Most Valuable Player and First Team honors during the 2005-2006 season and graduated with a 3.4 grade point average.
