Matadors to Hold Spring Identification Camp March 10 at Matador Soccer Field
NORTHRIDGE, Calif. –
The Cal State Northridge men's soccer program will host its first identification camp of 2012 at Matador Soccer Field on March 10, the coaching staff announced Wednesday. The camp is open to all males ages 15 to 22.
The identification camp gives players a unique opportunity to look into the training style of a Division I program. The camp is run with small group instruction, which allows players to learn about the coaching staff and receive more personal soccer instruction.
The camp will be run by the Northridge coaching staff, including head coach Terry Davila, associate head coach Yossi Raz, and goalkeeper coach Peter Bomar.
Space for the camp is limited to 35 field players and five goalkeepers and the cost per player is $75. The one-day session will begin with registration and check-in at 9:45 a.m. and concludes at 5:45 p.m. and includes technical development in small-sided games, lunch, a tour of the CSUN campus, and a full 11 vs. 11 game.
After the camp, the CSUN men's soccer team will host the UCLA Bruins in an exhibition at 7 p.m. at Matador Soccer Field. Admission to the friendly will be free to the public.
To register for the camp, please send the included registration and waiver forms with the enrollment fee to Coach Raz. For more information, contact Coach Raz at (818) 677-2946 or by email at email@example.com.
