NORTHRIDGE, Calif. –

A pair of Cal State Northridge men's soccer standouts were recognized for their achievements during their freshmen season by TopDrawerSoccer.com in the site's Postseason College Soccer Freshmen Top 100 Players to Watch List. Yarden Azulay and Edwin Rivas captured the 52nd and 68th spots on the final list for the 2011 season.

The Jordan Valley, Israel, native scored four goals and added two assists in his first campaign for the Matadors. His goal against then-No. 2 ranked Akron came with a man down and sent the match into overtime.

Rivas, a forward, appeared in 18 matches and made 15 starts after redshirting in 2010. He scored five goals last year to tie for the most on the team and scored the game winner at then-No. 7 ranked UCLA to give the Matadors their first win on the road against the Bruins in program history.
