NORTHRIDGE, Calif. -
The Cal State Northridge men's soccer program looks to add depth and talent to its roster and will hold open tryouts on Friday, Feb. 22, 2013 on campus.
All athletes interested must fill out all required paperwork and attend a mandatory meeting with members of the coaching staff on Monday, February 18. The meeting will take place at 2:15 p.m. at Matador Hall on the campus of Cal State Northridge, where those interested must turn in their completed registration packets and show proof of both a passed physical exam and sickle cell test.
To be eligible for the tryout session, players must be full-time CSUN students enrolled in a mimimum of 12 semester units. Participants must have graduated from high school in the spring of 2010 or later to still have playing eligibility.
The tryout, which will be held at 2:15 p.m., will take place at the Northridge soccer practice field. The field is located between the Matador Track & Field Complex and Matador Baseball Field and can be accessed from the entrance on the east side of the field near Northridge Academy High School.
