NORTHRIDGE, Calif. -

The Northridge Soccer Academy is currently undergoing registration open to any and all men soccer players, ages 15-18 for our Individual Development Camp. The session will be a one day event that will commence on Feb. 27 from 8:00am-3:00pm.

Our campers will be exposed to the demands of NCAA college soccer and receive a tour of the campus to get a feel of what life as a student-athlete at a Division 1 college campus is all about.

The Academy has historically been an opportunity for potential student-athletes to develop the skill set and base of experiences needed to compete at the collegiate level; several current collegiate soccer players have utilized the Academy as an opportunity to improve their game.

Northridge women's soccer Assistant Coach Derek Hanks will serve as the Director of Camp Operations, and is one of six Matador coaches that will be instructing all young collegiate hopefuls. Head Coach Terry Davila the 2009 Big West Coaches of the Year will serve as Senior Coach for the academy, while men's soccer Assistant Coaches Yossi Raz and Peter Bomar will also be on staff.

All interested parties must fill out a Northridge Soccer Academy online registration, send payment which can be made via PayPal or by check, and complete a waiver form to complete the registration process.
