Aug. 30, 2010

NORTHRIDGE, Calif. - Due to popular demand, Bill Courtland will return to Matador Soccer Field to broadcast both soccer games taking place this week at Matador Soccer Field.

The voice of the Matadors will call all the action live from Matador Soccer Field starting with this Wednesday's Northridge-San Diego men's soccer game.

Competing in their first regular season game under the lights in nearly a decade, the men will begin the 2010 season against last year's West Coast Conference champions and NCAA tournament participants. Kick-off for Wednesday's season opener will take place at 7 p.m.

Courtland will return to the sidelines at Matador Soccer Field once again this Friday evening when the CSUN women's soccer team return to the pitch to face the Pepperdine Waves.

Coming off an impressive 4-0 victory over Saint Joseph's last Sunday, the women's soccer team will look to win their first regular season game under the lights when they take on their rivals from the coast.

Kick-off for Friday's game will also take place at 7 p.m.
