Dusty Brown finished 12th in the pole vault at the Big West Championships (May 12) in his first season as a Matador ... cleared a top height of 14-11 (4.55) on his first attempt before fouling on all three attempts at 15-5 (4.70) ... season-best vault of the season was 15-1 (4.60) at the Cal-Nevada Championships (Apr. 1) where he placed fifth our of 25 competitors ... indoor seaosn-best was also 15-1 (4.60) which came at the Jacksons Invitational in Boise, Idaho (Feb. 11).
