Thomas Johnson reached the NCAA West Preliminary in the high jump in his final season at CSUN ... cleared a best of 6-9 (2.06) on his second attempt before missing on three attempts at 6-11 (2.11) to finish in a tie for 14th ... finished in a tie for second at the Big West Championships with a top height of 6-8.75 (2.05) ... matched his career-best (6-10.75) on two difference occasions; at the Northridge Invitational and the Texas Relays ... did not compete during the indoor season.

2010
Johnson finished tied for sixth in the high jump at the MPSF Indoor Championships after clearing a height of 6-9.50 (2.07) ... jumped an indoor career-best 6-11.50 (2.12) at the season-opening UW Invitational (Jan. 30) which ranks sixth on the all-time Northridge indoor list ... redshirted the outdoor season.

2009
Made his NCAA Regional debut in the high jump ... finished tied for seventh after clearing 6-8.75 (2.05) on his first attempt ... fouled on all three attempts at 6-10.25 (2.09) ... cleared a career-best 6-10.75 (2.10) at the Clyde Littlefield Texas Relays (Apr. 10) where he finished fourth ... tied for third at the Big West Championships after clearing 6-8.25 (2.04) ... tied for third at the MPSF Indoor Championships after posting an indoor career-best 6-10.75 (2.10) which ranks fifth in Matador indoor history ... equaled his best at the Husky Classic in Seattle, Wash. (Feb. 14) ... earned MPSF All-Academic honors following the indoor season.

2008
Finished third in the high jump at the Big West Championships with a season-best height of 6-8.75 (2.05) ... also reached his season-best height at the Rafer Johnson Invitational at UCLA ... high jumped an indoor best 6-7 (2.01) at the season-opening UW Invitational in Seatte, Wash.

ANTELOPE VALLEY HIGH SCHOOL
Competed in both track and field, and basketball at Antelope Valley High School in Lancaster, Calif. ... was a four-time Golden League high jump champion as well as the triple jump champion in 2004 ... was also a three-time MVP of the Antelopes basketball team as well as earning all-league honors in 2006 ... graduated in 2007 with a 4.0 grade point average.
