David Reid advanced to the NCAA West Preliminary round for the second year in a row and first in the 200 meters ... ran 21.67 in the 200 prelims to narrowly miss advancing to the semifinal round ... ran the anchor leg of the 4x100 relay team that finished 20th in a time of 42.09 ... finished second in the 200 and third in the 100 at the Big West Championships ... ran a season-best 10.67 in the 100 prelims before running 10.68 in the final ... clocked a time of 21.24 in the 200 final ... season-best of 21.20 came at the Asics/Steve Scott Invitational where he finished fourth ... the CSUN men won the 4x100 relay title in a season-best 40.57 ... wind-aided season-best in the 100 came at the Texas Relays where he posted a time of 10.58 ... qualified for the 100 and 200 meters at the MPSF Indoor Championships ... finished 12th in the 200 meters in a time of 21.89 ... ran an indoor season-best (21.81) to finish second at the Boise State Team Challenge ... finished 24th in the 100 meter prelims in 7.08 ... ran a season-best 7.02 at the UW Invitational.

2010
Reid advanced to the NCAA Outdoor Championships in his first season at Northridge ... was a member of the 4x100 relay team that were disqualified in the preliminary round for passing out of the zone ... ran the third leg of the relay that ran 39.94 to claim 10th place at the NCAA West Region Championships in Austin, Texas ... also reached the region championships in the 100 and 200 meters ... finished a Northridge-best 18th in the 200 meter prelims in a time of 21.24 to advance to the semifinals where he placed 20th in 21.32 ... finished 38th in the 100 prelims in a time of 10.81 ... was the Big West 200 meter champion after running a season-best 21.10 in the final which ranks seventh in Matador history ... also finished fourth in the 100 meters (10.64) after running a season-best 10.58 in the prelims ... ran leg three of the Big West champion 4x100 relay that clocked a season-best 39.86 which is a Northridge record ... finished fourth in an indoor season-best 21.64 in the 200 meters at the MPSF Indoor Championships ... also qualified in the 100 meters where he ran a season-best 6.96 in the prelims but did not reach the final ... ran the second leg of the Matadors' 4x400 relay that ran an indoor season-best 3:30.99 at the Boise State Invitational.

SACRAMENTO CITY COLLEGE
Spent two seasons (2008, 2009) at Sacramento City College in Sacramento, Calif. ... was named Big 8 Runner of the Year as well as NorCal Runner of the Year for the Panthers track squad.
