NORTHRIDGE, Calif. --- The Cal State Northridge women's basketball program will host a free youth clinic on October 29 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., Matador head coach Jason Flowers announced.
The clinic, which is open to both girls and boys ages 6 to 13, will be held before the Matadors' exhibition contest against The Master's College at 4 p.m. The clinic will cover a variety of skills and drills aimed at teaching the fundamentals of basketball in a fun and exciting manner.
Members of the Northridge women's basketball team and coaching staff will run the event.
"Our program is always excited to have the opportunity to give back to our community," Flowers said. "We look forward to having the area's youth on campus and interacting with our student-athletes."
For more information on the clinic, interested parties are asked to contact CSUN assistant coach Mario Trutanic at firstname.lastname@example.org or at 818-677-4949.
