The American's match with the Chinese will be a rematch of the 2008 Paralympic Final and Holloway and Team USA will work hard to reverse its fate from four years ago.
Team USA advanced to the finals with a three-set sweep over Ukraine (25-14, 25-13, 25-19) in the semifinals. Holloway was second on the team with 11 points on nine kills and two service aces.
The Chinese defeated Team USA in four sets on the opening day of the 2012 Paralympics. Since then, the club has cruised to sweeps over Slovenia and Brazil in addition to Ukraine. Holloway had a team-high 16 points against Brazil and 13 against Slovenia.
Holloway is the only women's basketball player in NCAA Division I history to compete with a prothestic limb. She was a multiple-time All-Big West Conference selection and graduated from CSUN in 2008 with a degree in Sociology.
She also recently received her Master's Degree in Therapeutic Recreation from Oklahoma State this past May.
