Matadors Tied for Fifth After Two Rounds of the Circling Raven Invitational

WORLEY, Idaho - Junior Margo Dionisio is tied for sixth while the Cal State Northridge women's golf team is in fifth place after two rounds of the Circling Raven Collegiate Invitational at Circling Raven G.C.

As a team, the Matadors carded rounds of 307-310 to finish the day at 617, 12 strokes behind first-place Washington State but only one shot back of fourth-place BYU. San Francisco (614) is second followed by Seattle (615) in third in a tightly bunched top-five of the 22-team field.

Dionisio is one of two players tied for sixth at (+6) 150 after carding rounds of 74-76. She is 10 shots back of leader Caitlin McCleary of Seattle (140). Ellen Krausse is tied for 22nd at (+11) 155 following rounds of 77-78 and Kendall Patten is tied for 46th at (+14) 158 after rounds of 79-79.

Sharon Shin, playing her first collegiate tournament, is tied for 59th after bouncing back from an opening round 83 with a second round 77. Shin is currently at (+16) 160. Kylie Kimura is tied for 78th to round out the Matador scoring after rounds of 77-85 left her at (+18) 162.

The final round gets underway Tuesday with an 8 a.m. shotgun start.
