SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif. - Cal State Northridge women's golf carded identical team rounds of 324 and are in sixth place after two rounds of the Big West Championship at San Luis Obispo CC. Sophomore Ashlee Nagamine is tied for 12th to lead the Matadors.

The Matadors carded identical team rounds of 324 and are currently sixth at 648. Long Beach State leads the field at 621 followed by UC Davis (623), UC Irvine (627), UC Riverside (637), Cal Poly (641) and the Matadors.

Nagamine, who was seventh after an opening-round 78, is tied for 12th place at (+14) 158 after rounds of 78-80. She is just eight shots off the pace set by Patty Chawalitmetha of UC Irvine, Alice Kim of UC Davis and Lee Lopez of Long Beach State who share the lead at six over-par 150.

Lady Samson and Katrina Sutton are also in the top 20 with Samson in 19th place and Sutton tied for 20th. Samson finished with rounds of 81-82 and sits at (+19) 163 while Sutton carded rounds of 83-81 and is at (+20) 164.

Senior Krystina Gillenwater is tied for 22nd at (+21) 165 after rounds of 84-81 and Stephanie Aston was forced to withdraw from Monday's second round after an opening-round 82.
