Following Kylie Kimura's second place finish at the LA City Women's Championship, Maurissa Medina was the 1st Gross Overall Champion at the Ventura County Women's Golf Championship. Fellow Matador Kendall Patten was 1st Net Champion.

Medina, who will be a senior for the Matadors in 2010-11, won 1st Gross Overall Champion in the Championship Flight with a 145 gross score. Patten, who will be a junior, was 1st Net Champion honors after a card-off with a score of 148 Net.

Cal State Northridge women's golf opens the 2010-11 season at the Gonzaga Tournament in Coeur d'Alebe, Idaho on Sept. 13.
