Maas appeared in 44 games and 43 starts in her second season at CSUN … batted .263 with 31 hits for the year … tied for second on the team with eight doubles … added 16 runs, two home runs, 15 RBIs, eight walks and two stolen bases … against Big West opponents, Maas batted .276 with 10 runs, five doubles, one home run, seven RBIs and five walks … blasted home runs against Western Michigan and UC Santa Barbara … tied a season and career high with two hits in seven different games … finished year with seven multi-hit games and three multi-RBI games … also made nine appearances and three starts in the pitching circle … finished 1-2 with a 3.16 ERA and 18 strikeouts in 24.1 innings of work … held opponents to a .186 batting average … tossed a complete game shutout in a victory over Santa Clara.
Maas had a strong start to her Northridge career in her freshman season … batted .212 for the season, collecting 11 hits, one run, two doubles and four RBIs … against Big West Conference opponents, batted .259, collecting seven hits in 29 at-bats … added a run, a double and three RBIs against league opponents … had a season-high two RBIs against Pacific … in the circle, finished with an 0-6 record and a 11.70 ERA in 20.1 innings of work … tossed a season-high five innings with four strikeouts against Maine on Mar. 12 … finished with a perfect fielding percentage in eight chances.
