NORTHRIDGE, Calif. - The Cal State Northridge softball team had both of its games Saturday, Feb. 26 at the Amy S. Harrison Classic cancelled because of inclement weather in the Inland Empire. Rather than face the UNLV Rebels for the second time, CSUN will now play Boise State on Sunday morning at 10 a.m. in a revised schedule of the tournament.
CSUN was scheduled to face UC Riverside in a non-conference game and Boise State Saturday at the tournament. However, those games have been scrapped.
Northridge will now face Boise State for the first time in school history Sunday morning at 10 a.m. on the campus of UC Riverside.
The Matadors do return home next Wednesday, Mar. 2 for a single game starting at 2 p.m against Cal State Bakersfield.
Following that game, CSUN will play four games on the campus of Cal State Fullerton as part of the DeMarini Invitational from Mar. 4-6. At the tournament, Northridge will face Murray State, Northwestern, Southern Miss and Stanford.
