Earned the Most Valuable Swimmer award as voted by her teammates for her achievements and accomplishments in the pool during the 2008-09 season ... fastest times swam in 2008-09 include: 50 freestyle in 25.15 at the Nike Cup (11/20-22), the second fastest time of any member on the women's team ... the fastest 100 and 200 Freestyle times of any member on the women's team with respective marks of 52.99 and 1:52.04 both set at the Big West Championships (2/25-28), with her 200 time clocked as the third fastest time ever recorded in the program's history ... 500 Freestyle time of 5:24.88 at the Malibu Invitational (10/25) ... the fastest 100 and 200 Butterfly times in the program's history with respective marks of 55.34 and 2:03.42 also set at the Big West Championships ... the fastest 200 IM time in the history of the program of 2:02.72 set at the Big West Championships ... 400 IM time of 4:42.97 set at the Irvine Invitational (1/3).

Senicheva cemented her status as one of the best Matador swimmers in team history, moving into second all-time in the 100 Butterfly, ninth all-time in the 200 Butterfly, and sixth all-time in the 200 IM ... also swam the 50-, 100-, 200-, and 500- Freestyle, and 400 IM ... emerged as a top freestyler for the Matadors, posting the team's second-best mark in the 100 and third-best mark in the 200 ... finished 11th in the 100 Butterfly, 12th in the 200 Butterfly, and 13th in the 200 IM at the Big West Championships ... top times: 50 Freestyle: 25.45 (leadoff split), 100 Freestyle: 54.14, 200 Freestyle: 1:59.42, 500 Freestyle: 5:46.17, 100 Butterfly: 57.47, 200 Butterfly: 2:08.23. 200 IM: 2:08.21, 400 IM: 4:48.21.

2006-07

One of the Matadors' top competitors, Olesya Senicheva swam the 50, 100, and 200 Freestyle, the 100 and 200 Butterfly, the 100 Backstroke, the 100 Breaststroke, and the 200 Individual Medley for the Matadors ... was also a member of the top relay teams in the 200, 400, and 800 Freestyle Relay as well as the 200 and 400 Medley Relay ... claimed top times for Northridge in the 100 fly (57.69), 100 back (59.51), and the 200 IM (2:08.78) ... her 200 IM time was the fifth-best result in school history ... also got into the Matador record books in the 100 fly (fourth, 57.69) ... Other top times: 50 Freestyle: 25.11, 100 Freestyle: 54.12, 200 Freestyle: 1:56.36, 200 Butterfly: 2:09.93, 100 Breaststroke: 1:12.43.

COLLEGE OF OLYMPIC RESERVE

Senicheva swam at the College of Olympic Reserve, where she earned first palce in the 200 Butterfly at the 2005 World Cup in Moscow, fourth place in the 200 Butterfly, and second place in the 200 Medley Relay at the 2005 Cup of Russia.
