Keshia Baker, who was a volunteer assistant coach for the Cal State Northridge track & field team this spring, was named to the United States Olympic Team as a member of the 4x400 relay pool.
Baker, a 2010 graduate of Oregon, assisted Northridge head coach Avery Anderson this spring working with the Matador middle distance runners.
The six-time All-American anchored the Ducks' 4x400 meter relay team to a dramatic victory over Texas A&M at the 2010 NCAA Championships at Hayward Field. She finished sixth in the women's 400 meters on June 24 at the U.S. Olympic Team Trials in a season-best 51.23.
Baker was also a member of the 2011 American 4x400 meter relay pool that captured gold at the IAAF World Championships in Daegu, South Korea.
