Catherine Chidester qualified for the hammer throw at the Big West Championships (May 12) ... finished seventh with a season-best mark of 165-0 (50.30) ... her throw was CSUN's top hammer mark of the season ... also threw the discus during the outdoor season posting a season-best 126-8 (38.63) at the Tiny Lister Classic (Apr. 7) ... threw an indoor season-best of 38-6.75 (11.75) in the weight throw at the Boise State Team Challenge (Feb. 11).
