NORTHRIDGE - 2011
Sierra Brooks capped her sophomore season with a fifth-place
finish in the 100 meters at the Big West Championships ... ran a
season-best 12.02 in the prelims before running 12.14 in the final
... also qualified for the 200 meter final but did not compete ...
clocked a career-best time of 24.50 in the 200 at the Asics/Steve
Scott Invitational ... also ran the third leg of the Matadors'
4x100 relay team than finished second at the conference
championships in 46.13 ... finished 15th in qualifying in the 60
meters (7.71) at the MPSF Indoor Championships ... her
time matches the top indoor time of her career ... placed 21st in
the 200 meters in lifetime-best 25.13 ... earned MPSF All-Academic

Brooks made her first trip to the NCAA West Region Championships
as a member of Northridge's 4x100 relay team ... the Matadors ran
45.86 and failed to advance out of the preliminary round ...
