Mallory Day ran a lifetime-best 18:57.45 in the 5,000 meters at the Asics/Steve Scott Invitational (May 1) ... also clocked season-bests of 11:10.74 in the 3,000 meters and a career-best 39:19.59 in the 10,000 meters ... finished 65th at the Big West Cross Country Championship in the fall with a time of 24:00.9 ... placed a season-best 58th at the Northridge Cross Country Invitational after clocking a time of 24:35.3.

2010
Day did not compete during the indoor and outdoor seasons ... during the fall, placed 59th at the Big West Cross Country Championships with a time of 23:18.8 ... also ran at the Asics/UC Irvine Invitational 5k where she finished 77th in 19:28.60.

2009
Competed in the distance races for the Matador track team while also running cross country ... competed in the 10,000 meters at the Big West Championships where she ran a season-best 40:49.64 to finish 21st ... also posted season-bests of 19:52.16 in the 5,000 meters at UCLA's Rafer Johnson/Jackie Joyner-Kersee Invitational (Apr. 10) and 5:19.99 in the 1,500 meters at Azusa Pacific's Bryan Clay Invitational (Apr. 17) ... did not compete during the indoor season ... finished 68th at her first Big West Cross Country Championship in a time of 24:52.9 ... also ran at the Bakersfield Quad Cross Country Meet where she placed 32nd in 20:51.3.

APPLE VALLEY HIGH SCHOOL
Earned varsity letters in both track and cross country at Apple Valley High School in Apple Valley, Calif. ... earned the Ricky Gabrielson Foundation Athlete of the Year as a senior in 2007 ... was also named track team MVP and Mojave River League Athlete of the Year ... earned MVP honors for the Sun Devils cross country team in 2004, 2005 and 2006 ... graduated in 2007 with a 4.6 grade point average.
