Just seconds into the third period, Nelson again penetrated the UCSB defense with a lob shot that sailed past the Gaucho goalkeeper to give the Matadors a 6-3 lead. Goals by Celena Photopulos and Molly Henehan gave CSUN a 8-4 third period lead.
