Seventh-Ranked Cal State Northridge Team Hosts Hartwick, Concordia (Irvine)

Northridge, Ca. – Fresh off two wins last Thursday to extend their winning streak to nine games, the seventh-ranked Cal State Northridge women's water polo team hosts Hartwick College and Concordia (Irvine) in non-league games on Sunday afternoon at Matador Pool.

The school record for consecutive wins is ten, set during the 2010 season. The current nine game winning streak started on February 23 with a 9-7 victory over UC San Diego at the UC Irvine Invitational.

The Matadors face Hartwick at Noon followed by a 6:00 pm contest against Concordia.

At 2:45 pm, Hartwick will play Concordia.

Ten CSUN players are currently the team leaders in double-digit scoring. Marisa Young has a team-leading 43 goals followed by Lindsy Duncan (37), and Jenny Jamison and Kelcie Ferreira with 33 each.

Kiernan Davis has 132 saves in 21 games this year for an average of 7.37 saves per game.
