Bakersfield, Calif. - Sydney Sonoda scored a career-high five goals to lead #13 Cal State Northridge to a 12-7 victory over #12 Hartwick in a non-league women's water polo game at the Roadrunner Invitational on Sunday afternoon.

Sonoda scored four of CSUN's five goals in the second period to give the Matadors a 6-5 halftime lead.

The Matadors dominated play in the second half outscoring Hartwick 6-2 in the final two periods.

Whitney Delgado scored three times. Renee Gargiulo added a pair of goals.

Jillian Stapf added 12 saves in goal.

Cal State Northridge will face Cal State Bakersfield at 4:10 p.m. to complete Sunday's action in the Roadrunner Invitational.
