Thousand Oaks, Ca. - Whitney Delgado continues to be a scoring machine for Cal State Northridge.
At the Cal Lutheran Spring Classic, Whitney Delgado scored four goals to lead Cal State Northridge to a 12-6 victory over Concordia (Ca.) on Saturday morning.
In another game on Saturday afternoon, Delgado scored three goals to help the Matadors record a 12-7 victory over Wagner.
Delgado's seven goals gives her 163 for her career to move her past Jessica Coy (162 goals, 2006-09) into third place all-time at CSUN.
Cal State Northridge was never threatened in either game. Against Wagner, CSUN led at halftime, 5-1. Sydney Sonoda led CSUN with five goals against Wagner.
Against Concordia (Ca), Cal State Northridge held a 1-0 lead after the first period, and then broke the game open with three goals in the second period to take a 4-1 halftime lead.
On Sunday, CSUN plays Cal State Monterey Bay at 8 a.m., and LaVerne at Noon.
