Tenth-ranked Cal State Northridge Overwhelms Colorado State, 11-1

Redlands, Calif. - The tenth-ranked Cal State Northridge women's water polo team keeps on rolling over its opponents.

The Matadors steam rolled to another double-digit victory, 11-1, on Sunday morning against Colorado State in a non-league game played at Redlands College.

Later in the day, CSUN faces Redlands.

The ten-point victory over Colorado State is the 14th time in 18 wins that the Matadors have beaten an opponent by least five goals. In the last seven games, Cal State Northridge has won by an average of more than eight goals.

Cal State Northridge has won seven games in a row.

Again this game wasn't even close. Cal State Northridge marched to a 3-0 first period lead, and advanced the margin to 6-1 at halftime.

Sophomore Whitney Delgado again led the Matador attack with three goals

Senior All-American Jillian Stapf had seven saves.
