George Robnett

George Robnett was inducted into the CSUN Athletics Hall of Fame in 1987. A forward for the CSUN Men's Basketball program in 1970-71 and 1972-74, Robnett is one of the most prolific scorers and rebounders in the school's history. 
A 1974 All-American and UPI All-Pacific Coast selection, Robnett was a member of CSUN's 1970-71 CCAA Championship Team under Hall of Fame coach Pete Cassidy. He scored 623 points during the 1973–74 season, which stood as the most points scored in school history until Brian Heinle broke the record in 2001. Robnett also held the field goals made record with 267 before it was surpassed by Lamine Diane in 2019.Â
Robnett set a school record for rebounds in a game with 24 against UC Irvine on Jan. 16, 1971, a record that still stands in school history. On February 22, 1974, Robnett exploded for 35 points against UC Riverside, tying for one of the greatest individual scoring performances at the Premier America Credit Union Arena. Over his 76 career games, Robnett accumulated 1,159 points, tying him for 16th on CSUN's all-time scoring list.
In the CSUN record book, Robnett appears on nine different all-time career and season top-10 lists. He would graduate from CSUN in 1974.
