Patricia De La Riva was inducted into the CSUN Athletics Hall of Fame in 2001. De La Riva lettered for the CSUN Women's Basketball team from 1978 to 1982. She played for coaches Dr. Judy Brame and Leslie Trapnell.
During her career, De La Riva set five career records and six single-season records. She currently ranks 12th in career points with 1,122. When she scored her 1,000th career points, she was just the second woman in school history to reach the milestone. Also ranks sixth in program history with 482 career field goals and ranks ninth with 1,123 career field goal attempts.
She shares the single-game program record with 31 field goal attempts against Cal State LA in 1982.
Had 211 field goals (4th for a single season) in 463 field goal attempts (2nd for a single season) as a senior in 1981-82. De La Riva was a 1982 All-CCAA selection as a forward and a NCAA District VIII Academic selection.
De La Riva graduated from CSUN in 1984.
