The Cal State Northridge softball program will hold open tryouts on September 12 beginning at 5:30 p.m. at Matador Diamond, CSUN head coach Tairia Flowers has announced.

To tryout for the squad, interested parties must be full-time students at Cal State Northridge enrolled in a minimum of 12 units and have NCAA eligibility remaining. Prospective student-athletes must also fill out a comprehensive information packet that includes testing for sickle cell and a full physical.

All required paperwork is attached to this article. No prospective student-athletes will be allowed to tryout on Sept. 12 without all of their paperwork submitted and proof of enrollment in at least 12 units at CSUN.

All packets must be returned to CSUN assistant coach Caitlin Benyi in Matador Hall, not to the University's Athletic Training Center, between Sept. 2 and Sept. 7.
