CSUN Baseball to Hold Open Tryouts on September 9th

NORTHRIDGE, Calif. –

CSUN Baseball is holding open tryouts for the 2015-16 team on Wednesday, September 9, 2015, head coach Greg Moore announced. The tryouts will be held at Matador Field, starting at 12:30 p.m.

Interested current CSUN students must be enrolled in a minimum of 12 units for the 2015 fall semester and be degree-seeking undergraduates. To register, all students must complete a tryout packet and return the completed application to the baseball office, located in Matador Hall by 5 p.m. on Wednesday, September 2.

The Matadors are coming off a 33-win campaign in 2015, achieving their highest win total since 2002. Also in 2015, CSUN enjoyed its best 10-game start to a season since 1996 with a 9-1 start. Over the past three seasons, CSUN has earned 82 victories.
