Matadors Add Magdalena Juric to Complete 2019-20 Class

NORTHRIDGE, Calif. - CSUN women's volleyball added another building block for the 2019 season as head coach Jeff Stork announced the signing of Magdalena Juric to a National Letter of Intent.Â
Juric, originally from Croatia, is a 6-4 opposite from Carnegie Schools in Riverside, Calif. She is the second player to commit to CSUN during the early signing period.
Juric helped Carnegie to the CIF Southern Section Division 10 girls volleyball championship as a junior in 2017. She was named to the The Press-Enterprise All-Area Team for Division 10.
"Maggie has a very high upside and I think she wants to be a great volleyball player," said CSUN head coach Jeff Stork. "She's from Croatia and has a wonderful story on her journey to come to the United States and be a part of the CSUN Volleyball program. She's another strong net player and we will certainly expand her skill set to also include the back row and more bacll handling things."
Juric, who also plays for Mavericks Volleyball Club, joins Taylor Hunter who previously signed with CSUN in the early signing period.
