NORTHRIDGE, Calif. - CSUN Athletics proudly announces the launch of the Matador Athletic Fund, our new annual giving based, general fund.
The Matador Athletic Fund (MAF) strives to provide the best experience for our 300-plus student-athletes, each charitable contribution supporting resources needed for them to perform at their highest level. Every donation positively impacts each student's ability to excel both academically and in the sport they compete while honoring the history and tradition of CSUN Athletics. All contributions to the Matador Athletic Fund will go toward improving the student-athlete experience at CSUN by improving resources, facilities and programming.
"A robust annual fund is vital to the long-term health and sustainability of the department," said CSUN Director of Athletics Michael Izzi. "We are especially excited to increase the resources we provide to our student-athletes. The physical, mental, and emotional wellbeing of our students is more important than ever during this time of uncertainty."
To better communicate with and serve MAF members, we are pleased to announce the launch of GoMatadors.com/MAF, a website designed to provide our donors with detailed information highlighting the impact your support has on our student-athletes. Additional information is also available regarding donor benefits and answers to many questions about the MAF.
