BOULDER CITY, Nev. - Kim Turgut, Ariya Soldwisch and Nicole Tanoue are all in the top 25, while the CSUN Women's Golf team is tied for sixth after two rounds of The Clash at Boulder Creek on Monday at Boulder Creek G.C.
As a team, the Matadors carded rounds of 287-289 for a day one total of even-par 576, which is tied for sixth in the 18-team field. Host Northern Arizona leads both the team and individual competition as the Lumberjacks finished day one at 16-under 560, and Amy Hodgkins has a three-shot lead at 9-under 135.

For the Matadors, Turgut, Soldwisch and Tanoue each finished the day at even-par 144. Turgut had five birdies in the first round to fire a 3-under 69, before a 3-over 75 in round two. Soldwisch had one eagle and three birdies in round one (+1, 73) before closing the day with four birdies in a round of 1-under 71. Tanoue had one birdie in an opening round 3-over 75 before posting one eagle and four birdies in a blistering 3-under 69 in round two.

- Gracie Piar is tied for 72nd at 7-over 151 after posting scores of 74-77.
