20th-Place Finish for CSUN at Wyoming Desert Intercollegiate

PALM DESERT, Calif. - Senior Domenic De Luca finished in a tie for 34th, while the CSUN Men's Golf team carded a final round 307 to drop into 20th at the conclusion of the Wyoming Desert Intercollegiate on Wednesday at the Classic Club.
CSUN, which began the day in 19th place at 16-over 592, posted a team round of 19-over 307 to finish 20th in the 23-team field. Colorado (-34, 830) led from start to finish to claim the team championship, while Emil Riegger of Maryland fired a final round 5-under 67 to claim individual medalist honors at 10-under 206.
De Luca was CSUN's top finisher for the second time in as many spring tournaments and third time overall this season, finishing at even-par 216. De Luca had a pair of birdies in the final round, but finished his round with four bogeys over his final eight holes to finish the day at 2-over 74.

- After De Luca's 34th place finish, Tavin Boman was CSUN's next low scorer, tying for 88th at 11-over 227. Boman wound up posting three birdies in each of the three rounds of the tournament.
- Ethan Posthumus also had three birdies in a final round 5-over 77 which left him tied for 102nd at 15-over 231.
- Bryson Barnes had a pair of birdies on Wednesday, matching his round one total, to finish tied for 105th at 16-over 232 following rounds of 79-74-79.
- Nick Fry rounded out the CSUN scoring, tying for 107th at 17-over 233 following rounds of 73-80-80.
