CSUN Finishes 9th at Yellowstone Intercollegiate; Tanoue in Top 25

BOZEMAN, Mont. -Â In its second tournament of 2026-27, the CSUN Women's Golf team posted its first top 10 finish as the Yellowstone Intercollegiate concluded on Tuesday at Riverside Country Club.
As a team, the Matadors followed up Monday rounds of 305-300 with a final round 308 on Tuesday to finish ninth at 913. Montana State (874) defended its team title in its home tournament, while Mallory Uselman of North Dakota claimed individual medalist honors at 1-under 215.Â
Senior Nicole Tanoue was CSUN's low scorer, finishing the final round with one birdie, 11 pars, and six bogeys in a round of 5-over 77. Tanoue wound up tied for 24th at 11-over 227 after posting rounds of 78-72-77.

- Following Tanoue, freshman Ashley Han finished just outside the top 25 at 12-over 228. Han had CSUN's low score in the first round, finishing at 2-over 74, before posting consecutive rounds of 77-77 over the final two rounds. Han had two birdies, nine pars, and seven bogeys in Tuesday's final round to finish tied for 28th at 12-over 228.
- Sophomore Sophie Cook finished one shot behind Han, tying for 29th at 13-over 229 following rounds of 76-76-77.
- Senior Meghan Paracuelles finished in a tie for 37th at 15-over 231 following rounds of 79-75-77.
- Freshman Moanikeala Finau wound up tied for 54th at 23-over 239 after posting scores of 77-80-82.
- Freshman Olivia Yoon , competing as an individual, finished 44th at 17-over 233 following rounds of 81-75-77.
